Nanning Wuxu International Airport, located in Wuxu Town, Jiangnan District, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, is 27.8 kilometers away from the city center in a straight line. It is a 4Elevel militarycivilian combined international airport, the largest aviation hub in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, one of China's airports with over ten million passengers, an international gateway hub facing ASEAN, a firstclass aviation port open to the outside world, and an alternate airport for international flights.

As of January 2019, Nanning Wuxu International Airport has two terminals, T1 and T2 (for domestic and international, including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan flights), with a total area of 214,800 square meters. It has one runway with a length of 3,200 meters and 64 parking positions (excluding T1). The airport can handle an annual passenger throughput of 16 million, a cargo and mail throughput of 164,000 tons, and 137,600 aircraft movements. As of March 2019, it had opened 121 domestic and international routes, connecting 93 cities.

In 2020, due to the impact of the global pandemic, the passenger throughput of Nanning Wuxu International Airport decreased to 10.5841 million, representing a yearonyear decline of 32.9%. The cargo and mail throughput was 107,100 tons, a yearonyear decrease of 12.4%, and the number of aircraft movements was 88,200, a year-on-year drop of 23.1%. These figures ranked the airport 27th, 29th, and 30th in China, respectively.
